In which I won a prize!

Me, pointing at a Unicorn Statue in Salzburg

No actual unicorns were harmed in the taking of this photograph. (Salzburg, 2016)

I’m on Ravelry and I participated in Junkie University, hosted by the Malabrigo Junkies group.  They’re a really nice group of people, very devoted to Malabrigo yarn.

Malabrigo is a recent yarn discovery for me. I like it a great deal and could wax poetic about the beauty and value. (Okay, maybe it’s just “It’s really pretty and the price is pretty darned good for ‘not Big Box Brand’ yarn.” Either way, I like it and want to do more projects with yarn from the brand.)

As part of the festivities (where festivities = trying to learn new to you knitting and crocheting things and gabbing about it on a chat board) I won a prize! For participation!

That’s like finding a unicorn on your summer vacation.(which I also did. See photo above for proof.)

No idea what the prize will be yet, other than likely a skein of Malabrigo yarn of some variety, which is just fine by me.
